Installation, sculpture

HERE, I am not interested in my emotions insofar as they are mine, unique to me. I am not interested in their individual aspects, only in how they are traversed by what is not mine. In what emerges from the history of our planet, the evolution of living species, the flux of the economy, remnants of technological innovations, the preparation of wars, the trade in enslaved people and commodities, the creation of hierarchies, institutions of punishment and repression, networks of communication and surveillance, techniques and opinion blocks, the biochemical transformation of feelings. From there, I make work as a place of osmosis between matter and meaning. I look for angles to expose that which is not mine.

Felix Fasolt born (Bert Heytens) in Aalst (Belgium) in 1981. Studied architecture in Ghent at Luca-‐‑KUL, and Sustainable Urban Development at UPC in Barcelona, he is also the coordinator of Mixed Media course at LUCA School of Arts Ghent, is a freelance architect and a visual artist. Since 2016 he works as Felix Fasolt.

Felix lives and works in Ghent, Belgium.
